Phillips Health Center hosts Youth Gun Violence Forum.
On December 16, Phillips Health Center hosted Congressional & State Legislative Forum on Urban Gun Violence. The Form featured perspectives from First District Congressman John Larson’s office, State Senator Douglas McCrory, State Representative Matt Ritter, Hartford Civic Leader (Ret.) Capt. Steve Harris, the Health Alliance for Violence Intervention Fatimah Muhammad Executive Director, Civic Leader I. Charles Mathews and Andrew Woods, Executive Director, Hartford Communities That Care, Inc.
The Forum was moderated by Jay Williams, President, Hartford Foundation for Public Giving (HFPG) with closing remarks by JoAnn Price, Board Chair, HFPG.
